There is lots to do:
You can visit the mine and take tours.
Dine at the Kennicott Glacier Lodge.
If you want to flight see there are two servieces that will take you on a photo bonanza.
The Park Service has evening programs for you that are free.
If you want to hike into the glaciers, that is available.
In McCarthy you can visit the historic McCarthy Lodge for food and spirits.
To get around, there are vans available all day long to take you between McCarthy and Kennicott. Our cabin is near the airport so you can pickup a van there if you don't want to walk the road.
